Christmas in Argentina

In Argentina the weather is warm at Christmas. Preparations for Christmas begin very early in December and even in November.

House are beautifully decorated with lights and wreaths of green, gold, red and white flowers. Christmas Trees are also very popular and they are often decorated by 8th December. The main Christmas celebrations take place on Christmas Eve. In Argentina the main language spoken is Spanish, so Happy/Merry Christmas is ‘Feliz Navidad’. Houses are awash in beautiful Christmas colors and lights, and flowers are found everywhere. Wreaths of red, white, green, and gold welcome friends and families into the home. Christmas Day in Argentina is observed every year on the 25th December.
