MSKH
Attending MSKH has been an extraordinary experience, as it is far from a typical, mundane school. Instead, it is a vibrant, liberating environment filled with friendly individuals, making learning an enjoyable process. I eagerly anticipate each school day due to the welcoming atmosphere. Interestingly, in Armenian, “ընկեր” translates to “friend,” and we use this term to address our teachers instead of the formal “Miss.” Unlike most Armenian schools, where students are required to address teachers by their surnames, we have the privilege of calling our teachers by their first names, and if you are a diligent student, the teachers treat you with kindness. Another unique aspect of our school is the absence of uniforms; we have the freedom to express ourselves through our clothing choices, albeit within the guidelines of a dress code. It’s worth noting that many of my peers have an impressive sense of style, and we could easily organize a fashion show within our school, although I say this in jest. However, the school’s distinctiveness doesn’t end there. Instead of lugging around traditional school supplies like textbooks, notebooks, and pens, we utilize our laptops and tablets as our primary educational tools. Moreover, thanks to MSKH, you have the opportunity to become an accomplished blogger, as we complete our assignments and post them on our personal blogs. Occasionally, your blog can even serve as a helpful resource for others struggling with a math problem; they can post the question online, and if you have covered the relevant information, your blog may appear in their search results. In essence, our school is equipping students with valuable knowledge about the internet, which has its advantages, although it’s important to acknowledge that there are also potential drawbacks to consider. I believe I have covered the main benefits of my school that I wished to share with you.
